A. Cancellation instructions
Introduction
Consumers have a right to cancel on the following terms. A consumer is any natural person entering into a legal transaction for purposes predominantly outside their trade or self-employed professional activity.
Right to cancel
You have the right to cancel this contract within thirty days without giving a reason.
The cancellation period is thirty days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, takes possession of the last item.
As an exception, if the contract to purchase the goods is concluded between 1 November and 25 December, the goods may be returned until 31 January of the following year under this voluntary right of return.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us — WetterOnline Meteorologische Dienstleistungen GmbH, Karl-Legien-Straße 194a, 53117 Bonn, Germany; telephone +49 228 55937-990; fax +49 228 55937-80; email [email protected] — of your decision by a clear statement, such as a letter sent by post, fax or email. You may use the model cancellation form below, but this is not mandatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice before the cancellation period expires.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel the contract, we must reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs, except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer. Reimbursement will be made without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after we receive your cancellation notice.
We will use the same means of payment as for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise. You will not be charged any fees for this reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have provided evidence of returning them, whichever happens first.
You must send or hand the goods back to us without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after informing us of the cancellation. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period expires.
You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are liable for any loss in value only where it results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
General information
1) Please avoid damaging or soiling the goods. Return them in their original packaging with all accessories and packaging components, using protective outer packaging where necessary. If you no longer have the original packaging, please use suitable packaging to protect the goods adequately against transport damage.
2) Please do not send goods back with postage unpaid.
3) The requests in points 1 and 2 are not conditions for effectively exercising your right to cancel.
